Join us and experience the world-famous Aomori Nebuta Festival with a guide! You'll change into the traditional costume of a "Haneto" dancer with the guidance of our guide, and once the festival begins, you'll participate alongside local residents as a "Haneto." After enjoying the lively celebration for a while, you'll change back into comfortable clothing under the guide’s direction. Then, enjoy a premium seat to watch the Nebuta Parade up close. This tour is not just about watching—by participating, you'll fully immerse yourself and experience the festival from the heart. Includes Nebuta viewing, reserved seating, and Haneto dancer experience.
Meet your guide at Aomori Prefectural Tourism and Products Center ASPAM. You'll change into the formal "Haneto" costume, the traditional attire for participating in the Nebuta Festival. During the changing process, you'll wear only underwear underneath, and staff from a local kimono shop will assist with your dressing. Once dressed, you'll walk around the town in full costume and take photos wearing the traditional outfit.
Next, you'll move to your viewing spot at a historic and beloved local shop called "Ishi no Hana." While waiting, enjoy the unique atmosphere of the festival. When the signal is given by your guide, you'll join the parade as a "Haneto," dancing alongside local residents.
To fully enjoy the festival, you will participate as a "Haneto" until the end, but with the option to leave the parade midway at designated changing areas. You'll change back into casual clothes, which will be delivered to your designated location free of charge. After changing, your guide will lead you back to "Ishi no Hana" where you'll have a special viewing spot on the second floor—giving you an unobstructed view of the Nebuta up close.
Take your time to enjoy the floats passing by and watch the lively "Haneto" performances. This tour offers both participatory and observational experiences, allowing you to enjoy the Nebuta Festival from multiple perspectives.
